I had no control over my own future. I decided to do something about it. Pooksoft was born.

Our Journey, Mission AND VALUES

I’ve worked for 20 years in academia, the last 16 years at Cornell University. During that time I’ve risen up the ranks, to become a tenured full professor in an Ivy League engineering department. I’m proud of that achievement. But I’ve always wanted something more. I wanted to be my own boss, to stop working for someone else, and most of all, I wanted control over my own future. I decided to make some changes. That’s when I started Pooksoft.

Our mission is simple in scope, but hard in execution: generate simplicity from chaos. We use mathematical modeling, data visualization and simulation approaches to better understand complex investment decisions.

Our journey is the same as yours. We are customers for Pooksoft products. We use are own tools and our own money to make better investment decisions for options based portfolios. Thus, we are passionate about making our products as simple as possible, while simultaneously making them insanely great. Because I use them everyday!
